What a fantastic holiday at an amazing location. The hotel was very clean, airy and very well maintained. The facilities were superb, the swimming pool, restaurant and bar were all top notch. The beds were very comfy and the room was airy and spacious with a lovely little terrace. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service was friendly and so helpful. The location is ideal for the private beach and if you want something bigger there is a superb beach and facilities less than a 5 minute drive away. In short, we will go back after a brilliant holiday. Special thanks to Maurizio in the restaurant and Mario in the bar for making me practice my Italian!!! Thank you so much

After spending time in Santorini, Athens and Mykonos, we chose Hotel Cala Caterina to relax before we head home and it didn't disappoint. The grounds are beautiful and so was my room. It's out of the way, but I new this when I booked. The secluded beach is breathtaking. The staff is amazing! Concierge goes above and beyond! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. If you're looking to truly relax and enjoy peace and quiet while taking in the beauty that is Sardegna, this place is for you!

I can’t explain how amazing & fabulous is this place! Villasimius itself is a wonderful city but this resort is like a diamond! All the staff were super polite, kind & helpful. I absolutely recommend this place for those who are looking for uniqueness & tranquility while enjoying a wonderful sunny holiday! Special thanks to Mrs. Stefania!!

The hotel's location is quite secluded, next to the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area. Good sized, well kept grounds with lots of little corners offering chairs, sun lounges and hammocks in sun or shade. Access to a small beach, good swimming when the sea is calm and lots of marine life. Excellent breakfast, good lunch options in the bar, good dinner but choice limited to fairly high end cuisine - there are other Restaurants 10-20 minutes walk away. We had very few issues, only some of the bathroom installations were a bit wonky but nothing that distracted from a truly enjoyable stay.

The room allocated (sea view junior suite which apparently is unique in the hotel and so we could not be allocated a different one!!!) is unique for the wrong reasons: the shower kept leaking out in the bathroom for nearly a week into our stay ne the staff kept claiming it was ‘fixed’ and it was ‘working’ until we forced the manager to see for himself that the shower was leaking after a bear 2 minutes use (us being a family of 4!!!!). With our stuff in the bathroom, they removed the whole shower cabin and drilled a hole in the ground to allow water to drain 🙈!!! Room not made up on time, beds not changed for a week!! And upon complaint, the duvet left bare, undressed!!! The restaurant staff is really unprepared (with some exceptions: the veteran staff who evidently have been doing this for several years and knew their job, only that they were 2 or 3 out of 10/12!!), no manners whatsoever, not interested in the job and completely absent very often. It appeared as if they were doing us a great favour for the entire stay! clearing the table of empty plates was something which they refused to do ‘naturally’, so in every occasion (breakfast or dinner) we had to pile the dirty plates in order to allow us to finish our meals. Not to mention our family friends’ saga, where their Booking.com reservation did not appear in their system and they have to keep moving from room to room during their 2 weeks’ stay, as the hotel is so extremely busy apparently (not on Booking.com apparently, as rooms kept showing as available) and everything is fully booked and so we can’t be accommodated properly…. Very dissatisfied all together, would not recommend! Do your homework before deciding to spend the money this hotel is asking for! Apart from the lovely grounds they were blessed with and the vicinity of the sea, there is nothing who will make your stay pleasurable.

the only positive thing about this hotel is the location, the view is very beautiful. the service is very poor, the waiters are untrained, they do you a favor every time they come to the table, and the waiting time is very long. the hotel is very outdated, the cameras are in need of serious renovation, especially the bathrooms, as well as redesign. everything is in the style and condition of thirty years ago. or the hotel should downgrade its rating and, accordingly, prices or seriously improve
